Digital photographs are taken and provided with every item valued and distinguishing features are noted with a full and accurate description recorded.

Most jewellery can be SafeMarked for the ultimate in protection. A small, discreet and distinctive SafeMark is physically marked onto each piece by the same method used to apply a hallmark.

All this information is permanently stored onto SafeGuard's national computer database, providing you, the police and your insurer with conclusive proof of ownership.

After your purchase, if your jewellery is ever lost or stolen you can notify SafeGuard direct. The loss is entered onto a constantly updated Loss Register.

If your item is recovered and once the police see the SafeMark they check with SafeGuard's Loss Register - so recovery is no longer a matter of chance and proof of ownership is not required.

Your information is held securely in complete confidence and only released to the police or insurer with your permission.
